Saw a nice Orange with white top sportpack at Infineon Raceway last Saturday. I drove mine up on Friday, but had to take the family car for Saturday / Sunday. The ditches in the parking lot were no fun!

For any superbike fans, man o man can Mat Mladin fly!!! Won both superbike races by a HUGE margin, and made it look easy in the process.

And these little cars drive around like ships passing in the night.
I saw two Mini's last Tues comming back form work. A BRG MkII/III at Danza and Stevens Creek then later saw a yellow with a green top and chiropractor logo Wink on Homested. I commuted in mine Wed and Thurs and saw none. And on Friday I saw another green with a white top MkIII on 85 on the way home and of course I did take mine on Friday. Seems like there are more Minis being used for everyday transport.

HOW MUCH IS THAT MINI IN THE WINDOW??? (with music)

Spotted by my wife whilst driving downtown. Actually told me to check it out. ( WOW -- THANK YOU DEAR !! ) The exotic (erotic???) car place on Franklin and Bush that sells many Porsches, Jags, and others has in it's primary spot, a medium blue, white topped, union jacked Mini. I did check it out. It's a 74
1275. Yes Starlord, it is the one from the Sunset district. ( I asked) It appears to be restored inside and out. Very pretty. Unknown engine restoration and things out of sight. I did not crawl underneath or bug the consignment agent too much due to the fact that I was only a Looky Loo, and he had just gotten back from a bicycle training ride. ( unless that is the way car salespersons dress these days ) Asking a "Hefty" price, but said reasonable offers considered. Sorry- I choose not to quote the price on this forum because they are subject to change, mood, etc. and could be misleading. But suffice it to say "HEFTY"

yep, i can take a guess at what 'hefty' pricetag means.. i'm looking for something around the $7k range, this one was probably more in the $16k range.. or worse!?

oh, i saw ya scooting around downtown Linda Mar a few weekends ago, so I says to my gal, "Hey! There goes Blue Meanie!" ... she replies, 'yeah, a blue Mini, that looks like a classic one!' ... "No, Blue Meanie, that's his name on MOA S.F." (by this time I had completely lost her, LOL!!)

We were driving around the back streets by your place going to garage sales and she bottomed out her Volvo on one of those driveways.. scrape! on the way back we saw a pepper white MINI with black bonnet stripes. Nice color, that pepper white is. very cute gal driving it too Smiley

I saw someone off 101 near Brisbane with a silver/gunmetal sort of color Mini with a dark top, not sure whose it was, didn't get a good look at it since I had to turn off the road, but man they were moving! vrrroom!

1 more sighting, today on 280. BRG new MINI with white bonnet stripes. I flashed, beep beep went my horn, I waved, but alas the driver gal didn't even notice...

I saw an electric blue white roof MK1 on 280 north and San Bruno Ave, rear badge said Morris 850 but ran and sounded bigger. What you have? Huh  I haven’t seen this car on the gallery.

Saw a very clean Yellow w/ white roof, RHD, clear tailight lenses ...  on Southbound 101 in Mtn View yesterday on my way home from Candlestick/Monster Park. My friend could not believe how small the Mini is when viewed from another car.

About a month ago, on a Sunday, my sweet co-pilot and I were off on a drive from Oakland, and as we merged onto 80 from 580, there was another mini merging from 980. He was slightly ahead in heavy traffic, but we caught up and honked and waved just as he exited University. It was green with a white top if memory serves. A member??

What a great drive that was: over to 101, north and over to Sears Point, then to Glen Ellen for lunch, then over the hills on the Oakville Grade with a stop at one of the prettiest, and most remote wineries, Chateua Potelle, home of world-class Zins, then to Niebaum-Coppola, Tra Vigne, the old original Napa Olive Oil Manufactory (in the white barn, not on Hwy 29) and then the Silverado Trail back to Napa/29, and American Canyon to 80 and home!  lots of waves and smiles along the way.

saw a bright red mk3 or later, around 9:10am today, on Lawrence Expwy in Sunnyvale right before the 101 on ramp.  Full body kit around (not too riceythough), red rims, haven't seen it in any of the events or photos.  Does it belong to someone here?  clean and  sweet ride for sure.

I saw a Mini braving the rain  Shocked yesterday at the corner of California and Rengstroff (first one at the stop light) in Mountain View at 7:30pm.  It was dark, so I couldn't make out the color, but it was a MKI w/ wavy grill and external hinges.

Few days ago I saw a MKI blue beater (busted tail light and faded paint) parked on West Santa Clara near San Pedro Square around 11:30am.
That same day I saw a Green Rover Convertible Turning off of Almaden Blvd near Santa Clara around Noon.
