uh, think I saw Peter on 101 the same day, on my way home, woo what fun! you do your MINI proud! Wink

I also saw a dark blue Mini with union jack near Ocean Beach, this is the same one Joanie (Elec.Blue MINI) and I saw at the Dream Machines show in Half Moon Bay.. is that a MOASF member? Coulda sworn it had a 'for sale' sign on it...

One more Mini sighting, this was a BRG (I think MkIII) off Sneath in San Bruno.

(there is a thread like this on MiniCityMag in UK..thought  it would be fun to start one here)

OK,

I was on Catalina Island last week, taking the trolly up to the Wriggley Memorial, I saw a Mk II in a school parking lot and I saw a cool looking Honda 600 (about the same as a mini). Remember when those came out? They were called "The Honda Car", they had 10" wheels too.

Did you know if you are caught washing your car on Catalina, you will be fined $500?

Dark blue metallic Mk3 sitting in my garage with a new rear subframe and adjustable camber brackets installed, finally!  Cheesy
There is a guy on the street I used to live on in Monte Sereno (between Los Gatos and Saratoga) that has two Minis, a red one and a blue one.

How about a somewhat oxidized yellow Mk1(?) with black checker board squares from front to back on the bonnet, roof and boot lid with what looked like a rear spoiler just above the window and high center mounted brakes lights?  It was first sighted by the Yahoo buildings on Mathilda Ave. headed south and turned off of Mathilda onto Moffett Park Blvd going west, yesterday, Feb. 7th.

So I was checking out other mini sites and came across this photo; http://larva.co.uk/mini/MITP04/6.jpg
That got me thinking about a British bus/car hauler conversion so I went to this site; http://www.skylineaviation.co.uk/buses/
and the search was on!

Yes, that was me Clyde.  It was right after playing hockey at the ice center and was with a couple of buddies.  We were laughing about all of us not working on Thursdays and hanging out at 7-11, just like in high school.

I was coming back from a meeting in Roseville, and took that exit off the freeway. I saw your Mini, and almost went around the block to see who owned it.  Then , I thought no, I better get back and do some more work. I should have joined you guys in the frivolity of the day. Oh well, next time I will definently stop!

Was hanging out in Hagemann Park in Livermore on Easter Sunday and saw an all black Mini drive by heading west on Daisyfield Dr. around noon.  Any one we know?
