Shoot Charles, we should do a Campbell Mini show!  I'm just down the road off of Hacienda on the south end of town.

Craig,
I'm usually down there on Sat morning with the Inno hanging out at the coffee shop.  Not sure if I will be there this weekend though.

This past Sunday, on Hwy 280 heading north around Hwy 92, a Tahiti Blue Sportpack with bike rack on top. Could this be Geff from the Minimania sight of late?  I passed him in my convertible MINI.

Time to revive this thread.  Are all the local minis already accounted for?

I saw a RHD dark silver with black Mk. III (or later) near Home Depot in Colma yesterday (I was buying a 4x4 stud to make a jack block).  I've had friends mention this one to me before, so it must be a local car.

Cheers,

Saw a white w/ black roof RHD mini merging onto 237 eastbound at the 880 junction on Friday around 1pm.

I finally got a new battery installed last week and drove the mini through Crow Canyon Rd yesterday - gosh it felt good!  Smiley

I was out with Marc today getting a seat for my car and we saw a nice Orange Mini1000 (Mk. III-ish) in the outer Richmond.  It was an automatic - I've never seen one before, and RHD.  Very clean looking.

I think I looked at that car a while back. The PO was leaving the country in under a week or something like that. He said if no one offered him more than my low ball # he would give it it me. He never called back so I guess someone local picked it up. If I remember correctly this was a pretty decent car. i was hesitant about the auto but my offer was pretty low so it would have been well worth it. -Shawn

Thats my brother-in-laws car, it's a very clean 71' Auto. Did Marc ever sell his mini?

Yes indeed, I bought it.  It's a great car.  I went to the Palo Alto Concours on Sunday in it, blasting down 280 at 80+ mph.  At the show, there were three Cooper S cars, one was a really nice Australian Mk. II.

The '71 is a beauty.

Check out the "Call Out to SF Minis"  thread for future gatherings here in the city. See you around. -Shawn
