Anyone know who has the yellow Mk II III with the black top and the nice rack that I saw going south on 280 about noon today? Looking good in the rain.

I saw an old red Mini on Highway 85 going northbound between Bascom and Saratoga Ave this past Saturday afternoon at about 12:30pm.  I was going south so it went by me too quickly to see what it was.  Anyone claiming this one?

I was entering 101 South at University in Palo Alto at around 7pm this evening.  I saw a light blue Mk1/2 Mini appear in my rear view mirror and whiz down the left lane at about 80mph!  Someone has done a great job tuning up their engine!  It was something like the turquoise color that appears on this web page.... See if I can embed it....  Yup, even had a central exhaust pipe and right hand drive like the image in the icon.

92 East bound between 280 and 101 this morning around 9am.  Cream colored Mk I/II with a black roof.  Driver pulled to the right shoulder just after Alameda De Las Pulgas, and I would have pulled over to see if he needed help, but I was in the left lane and moving pretty quickly.  Was it one of us?  Did you get it moving again?

I saw a navy blue mini w/ dark tinted windows and fully painted white from above the door handles today around noon in Los Altos.  It was on San Antonio... waiting to cross El Camino towards Mountain View.  Club member?

Escartiz - saw you yesterday morning on El Camino in San Carlos, then this evening on Woodside Rd. Glad to see you cruising around in your mini!

Don't worry Ken, the weaving part becomes second nature, because it's so fun to do in a Mini that you don't notice you're the only one doing it!   Grin

Hwy 85, however, has those grooves in the roadway that seems to cause my poor mini to shimmy a bit (doesn't happen on any other roads...)

Classic Minis on Hwy 85 two mornings in a row! Waved at Clydecat ( I think ) this morning from my red bike. He thought I was nuts.

dprisoner, not really weaving just changing lanes and changing back with alacrity!  Grin
